Our writing about the fearsome beast Grendel has led us to delve in to our writer’s tool kit to use amazing adjectives, descriptive verbs and precise nouns to retell the moment the gruesome beast burst in to Beowulf’s great hall and snatched 30 of his best warriors. Our words have been chosen so carefully for effect that any reader will be able to imagine the terrifying scene we wanted to show them.

Friday 4 October 2024 A Historic Start to Year 4 What a great start to Year 4 we’ve had. Everyone has come in to Mrs Colquhoun’s class with buckets full of enthusiasm and a great attitude for learning. It’s going to be an excellent year and we can’t wait to see what the children can achieve.
